Judging is for God, not the people. So why do so many argue so hatefully?

Most religions to not advocate tolerance. They advocate love, and peace. Let me ask you this? If you want to love someone and they are doing something to hurt themselves, or something that is wrong do you let them do it, or do you try to help them?

Tolerance does not mean just ignoring everything, it has to do with loving the people no matter what they do.

Also, most religions say that ultimate judging is for God. The judgement of whether people go to heaven or hell or whatever the equivalent is in different religions. However, people of God, or holy people have the ability to judge for themselves, what is right and wrong, and should be able to make judgemetns about peoples actions, and attitudes, and whether these are responsible, and on the level with what is good and right.

Now look, it really all comes down to how people communicate what they think. If people are all in your face they normally are not doing it right and that is how most quesitons like this get formulated.

I don't consider myself "religious". Religion is not what Christianity truly is. It is a relationship.

I don't argue hatefully. Tolerance is a new buzz word. I think society has made it sound wrong not to tolerate something. I don't tolerate murder, or child molestors. Is that wrong? I try to be loving and respectful of non-believers, but I would never agree with them or say that its fine not to believe in Christ.

I think a lot of people need to get some guts and stand for something without being scared of being called in-tolerant.

The truly, deeply religious are always intolerant bigots. The best they can muster is patience in trying to be agents of conversion.
Religion is a dangerous infestation of a primitive part of the human brain much like an infected appendix.

God will not tolerate sin (PC):
He never tolerated Israel when they did what was right in their own eyes (Ignored god and His law) worshiped other gods and sought sorceresses.Jesus didn't decide to let the PC leaders (about 40 years ago) to decide what He believes.
What will be the next sin protected by the PC crowd?

Hey wake up there! It's NOT us Athiests who are arguing. Ever heard of a war that was started becasue of a "Lack of Belief"?

Nah mate, all the wars and conflict have been started by the Protestants who didn't like the Catholics, or the Nazis who didn't like the Jews, or the towel-heads, who didn't like the Christians, or the.......Christians who didn't like the other Christians.

Now we've got the Sunnis who don't really like the Shi'ites, and so on. Keep it going lads, with a bit of luck all you religious nuts will wipe each other out, and leave us Atheists, to a lovely peaceful world, with love for one another, and no conflict, and so on.....

Yes! The fall of man was caused by man taking on the yoke of judgment. God intended man to come to Him for judgment. Jesus came to fix what was wrong and to break the spell of judgment. A real Christian will have no condemnation in his heart.

no, I've found most "truly religious" people are totally incapable of tolerance and acceptance. They say they are, but they invariable prove their hypocrisy in some horrible way like hate and judgment.
