I think it will look pretty cool, but you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who would get the reference.
I'd give you mad, MAD props if you dressed up as Kratos (from God of War).

Creepy. The in thing this year is going to be a Death Eater. With all of the Harry Potter stuff going on, there are lots of new costumes and mask and stuff for Death Eaters, believe it or not. No one want to be the good guys anymore. I guess bad girls (and boys) have more fun.

What's an immortal? Is that someone who doesn't believe in death? You'd look cooler if you didn't wear no clothes at all - depends on how many wrinkles you got.

no, actually to be historically accurate you would have to wear a tiara or soft felt cap, an embroidered long-sleeved tunic, trousers, and a coat of metal.
but yeah it would look sweet
