Jesus even said that we can see signs of weather, but we don't notice the signs of the end. I really don't know when the end will come, but I hope it is soon. The world is getting worse and worse so quickly now. I don't know what my kids will be growing up around.

I wonder if you live in America? That's the most frightening place to be at the moment. The US is the most powerful, the richest, the most frightening, and the most frightened nation on the planet. Down here in Australia, we see what goes on all over the world from a distance, and can make judgements which are less emotional about things we don't see as affecting us much. No, the world isn't going to end - it's far too resilient for that. The dinosaurs were ALMOST wiped out by a meteor strike. Another one would do the same to humanity, but there will still be pockets of survival here and there, and we'll come back. And that could be 110 or 1,000 years in the future. Or it could be tomorrow. You can do nothing about it, so stop worrying. Just get on with your life. OK now?

Alright, you need to stop worrying about the end of the world. Worrying about it won't stop it if it's suppose to happen. If you believe in the bible, the bible itself tells you NOT to try to predict that day. It also gives you signs of the 'end times'. These could be end times, I don't know. I do know that people have been saying this exact same thing for centuries and we're still around. Your best bet is to live your life as best you can and leave the rest to God or fate or whatever. You can't stop what is suppose to happen no matter how hard you try.
This day & age isn't any more violent than any other time in history. We just have the advantage of technology that documents this stuff and it seems like people are more violent. They've always been violent, it's just not as hidden anymore. Life isn't about doom & gloom. God doesn't say to live in fear of life or be paranoid about every little thing that happens. He said to live your life and leave the rest to Him.

Well if you believe in God, then it may be the end, maybe not, but scientifically the world is ending. There is a church in Jerusalem that will be rebuilt after many years, that is when you know Jesus is coming. So if you are christian then look that up and read on it and if you are not christian then don't worry about there is nothing you can do, but to answer your question directly the world is ending and burning out, but if you aren't christian then no worries because the earth and sun will be gone long after you have gone. If you are Christian than any day could be it, no one knows.

Well yea I believe that we are in the end times like it speaks about in the bible. Actually I learned that 2001 was the beginning of the new Millenium, which was the beginning of the End. I learned that when I was little! But I just put together in my head that september 11th did happen in 2001, I mean I always new that, but I don't know your question just made me think of it again. It is very spooky, and things are getting worse, but we all get so desensitized to these things that it's hard to keep a grip on what is right and what is wrong! Ya know? And I am not that old (in my 20's) so I don't know what the world was like before...but it seems like there are more natural disasters than when I was younger... and even than there was in the 90's.

"When the Jews return to Zion and a comet rips the sky and the Roman Empire rises, then you and I must die. From eternal seas he rises, creating an army of shore, turning man against his brother, till man exists no more". Notwithstanding wars, vices, 911, etc., man continues to seek for peace, environmental protection and love for one another and a lot of people are being "born again" into a life of deep relation with God as their Saviour. Trust in Him because He will not fail you. The devil can never create the army big enough to turn us against each other.

911 was a Godsend! It has created a brand new economy for the good ole U S of A.......we have trebled our staff of Security Officers (they used to all be on the Dole queue, now they are employed)....we are building bigger, better planes and detection methods (a real boon to industry). Film-makers are having a boom time, great money being made by stars like Nicholas Cage....We've got "United 93" films (not including the burnt DVD market).....the list is endless.
Imagine, without 911, we would be bereft of ideas for future films, and everyone would still be watching Hitchcock's "The Birds" or other B grade stuff.
And yes, I am amocker with an ungodly lust, do you know of any women out there who can satisfy this lust for me?

no end of the world, get real!
there have been end of the world predictions since Jesus was around--probably even before.
and don't forget that all the end of the world of the year 2000 was really meant for the the year 1000--the millenialists were misinterpreting the predictions, the prediction had been that the world would end in the year 1000 (which they panicked about that back in that year too)
There have been endof the world cults forever too, some kill themselves off in expectation of 'the end' others reset the date.
If you tried you could find a dozen end of the world cults right now. Hope you have enough sense to stay away from them.

Actually, things are getting better and better every day. People are increasingly more socially and environmentally concious. Our form of government has evolved from tyrants and kings to free democracies. When a single individual is tortured, a whole nation is scorned.
No, no. Look at human history as a whole and you will see that progress continues.

The world's end is far from now. The bad things we see have been happening for a very long time. You can interpret things to mean whatever you want, and that's why Bible prophecies were written so vague.
Just don't worry about it.
