would you still consider it cheating if you were talking to a person and you have been for about a year and you both really like each other. you have even went out on some dates and you are sexually active with this person. our schedules are just really messed up right now so its agreed that we arent going to go out until they get straight but if they slept with another person would you consider it cheating.

Can't tell. You left out the most important part out: What did you guys agree to? This is what happens when people don't talk to each other.
Me, personally, I would call that cheating, because I don't believe in entertaining multiple partners, but other people see things differently. You have to talk these things through before they become problems.

I would consider it cheating. Sometimes circumstances in life are such that prevent u from having tags of boyfriend and girlfriend. But if make love at times, u are kinda into each other. I would feel very let down with the other person.

well it really depends on both of you,,,if what and how you both call the relationship you had,,,its pretty hard to say if its cheating or not coz you never say your commited with each other,,,but for me,,,,its cheating,,coz its not right to have multiple partners at a time,,,,but maybe his not serious with you and just wanted to have some fun with you,,,having sex with anybody who wants it to do with him too,,,,you both should talk with this matter coz u sound like things bothering you so much,,,but u dont know what's deep inside him right? being busy is not a reason,,,,you can still work things out if you both want too,,,,some couples are both working but still having fun and making love when free,,,it depends on how both partners want the relationship to be,,,,,if you love him go for it,,,find some ways to talk with him and solve this one,,,,but be sure your strong enough to accept whatever he will say,,,, life goes on,,,,Good luck and God bless

I won't even consider you two a couple. Even if your lives are really busy, if you truly wanted to be together you would make it work. This wasn't a relationship to begin with, sounds like the two of you were just very casually dating.

For me, im old fashioned. If your comitted enough to have regular sex with someone you are comitted to a relationship. In your situation, you made the rules with this person if they slept with someone else well, thats that. If it were you that slept with someone else hope you used protection and i would define the relationship now or get out of it.

Yes. but i dont see why you two have put off getting into a relationship if you like each other and have been talking for over a year and are having sex. life doesnt have to be perfect to have a boyfriend.

You can not cheat on someone if you are not in a commited relationship with them.

Not if you weren't dating exclusively. If you haven't had the talk and aren't calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend, it's okay.

But that's not what you want, is it? If yu want to be exclusive, better tell him now.
