Ok im in college and theres this girl and she asks to study with me every weekend even if theres nothing to study. Before we parted for spring break... we saw each other and she looked deep into my eyes and i thought it was the moment to do something. However, I didnt do anything so she touched me on the arm. I didnt give her a hug or kiss her.. did i blow it? I think she likes me... should i give her a hug next time. Theres a dance coming up... should i ask her to it? ALso, my parents dont want me to have a gf, should i listen to them if i really like her?

First of all, you are an adult. You need to make your own decision about whether you are ready for a girl friend. There is nothing wrong with taking your parent's wishes into consideration, but ultimately you need to do what is right for you.

You need to consider what kind of relationship you want with this girl. It is all a matter of discovery. If you are sure that it won't work out in the long run, than don't pursue a relationship. It will only end up causing pain. If you don't know if it will work than the only way to find out is to try.

You didn't "blow it." If she is so impatient/sensitive to be angry with you over that incident, than she isn't ready for a real relationship anyway.

If you didn't hug or kiss her because:

1. you like her and you were scared. - Than you should ask her to the dance.

2. you don't think it will work out and you didn't want to act in a manner that didn't reflect your true feelings. - Than you should make it clear to her that you "only want to be friends"

Goodluck!

When you two come back from your spring break give her hugs and let her know that she was totally missed. You might have missed your shot but I have a feeling if you gave her a lot of attention she'd be willing to give you another shot. Also, you're in college, you can have a girlfriend if you want and if your parent's really really bug you about it then have a girlfriend and when your parents ask about her simply say..."what girlfriend?" Good luck bud!

first off, you're in college, so unless you're some kid genius who has skipped a few years, you are old enough to be having girlfriends. now that it's clear, it sounds like she might like you. and the fact that you didn't make a move when she clearly wanted you to, probably made her think that you don't like her that way. so next tI'me you see her be more friendly. if you can even look at her in a special way (that is if you like her that way) that would be good too. so yea, do ask her to the date. and make sure you let her know you're not going as friends. good luck! im here if you have any questions.

I am pretty sure if you are in college you are over 18........right? You parents want you to focus on school and that is understandable, however you need a social life. I am really noe for hiding things from a parent but in this case I would. Try dating her for about a semester and see how your gpa does, if it falls you need to spend more time opening a book instead of tying to open her legs.....good luck

i think u should ask her to that dance. i'm still in high school but the one thing i look forward to in college is to be able to do what I want and not have to worry about my parents. Good Luck with her!!

No you didn't blow it youre making her want it even more by playing hard to get. And yes most definetly ask her to the dance, unless you have a significant other that you didn't write about.

You said college right? Firstly, you need to believe in yourself. And who cares if your parents don't like it?
