Where I live the standard is $2.65 a hour per child. We have day cares that charge $3 to $5 for after 5pm.
Teens in my area get $2 a hour per child.
Now if you go with a nanny it is $12 a hour. You can have up to 3 childern at home.
I would contact your local highschool and ask if they have a list. Because we have programs that they get school credit for child care..*any job really but there are list for child care*

Depends on person if a teenager from neighborhood $20-$40. A professional could cost near $100.
I would either use a professional or check with your local Red Cross chapter they have a class for kids to become safe babysitter (includes first aid and CPR) they maybe able to help you find someone for reasonable price

Well, i'm a licensed daycare provider & the going rate for full time(anything 5 hrs. or more is considered full time) is about $18.59 a day per child. So, there's your answer... unless, of course, you are talking about a teen. I have no idea about that situation. Hope I could help.. Good luck!

In my area, Alexandria, VA teens get anywhere from $5.00 per hour to $8.00 per hour. Memories...I remember when I got 50 cents and hour back in the 60's and 70's.

HI,
It would depend if she is known to someone or not known.
If known by someone else, ie someone has used her and liked her. Cost is $15.00, i would pay that. Because someone has recommended her.
If i dont know her i would pay $10 - $13.00 per hour.
