For my highschool, in order to graduate we need 24 hours of community service. They said we can start the summer in between 8th and 9th grade. I plan on doing just that. Any ideas of things i can do?

There are a lot of different of things you can do. You can make the most impact in your community doing things that you like to do. Your volunteer center can help you find specific community projects and non-profit agencies in your local area that match your interests, and help you make an impact in your community.

Through my volunteer center, I tutor children at the library, enrich arts and culture by helping visitors at the local museum, work at the local food bank, children's shelter, and clean our neighborhoods, parks, and beaches. There's a lot more of different stuff that your volunteer center can help you find in your local area. Most volunteer centers have a youth volunteer program or directory of services, so you can find some group volunteer projects with teens your age.

Good luck!
