Im in high school and I really like this guy in my physics class. He sits at the lab table straight across from me and I think I catch him staring at me sometimes but Im not completely sure. We're not really friends so this makes it twice as hard. He also turns his body toward me a lot. I only have that class with him and also gym, but he's always talking with his friends so this makes it even more difficult. How do I know if he likes me??

Socialize outside of school with him. If you don't have the same group of friends find out why, not everyone clicks on the same level and it is mostly the similarities that are forgotten and the differences become too concerning. Afterschool is a good idea too. Attending school functions like sporting events helps also. Spreading the word helps too.. once a couple people know he will eventually find out and hoepfully approach you. Try speaking to a friend who has a friend who is close to him.

I think You should come up with a tricky question about an assignment in Physics class, ask if You could have His number for future contact, and then also offer Yours. Don't be shy. Just might be what it takes to break the ice. Smile

That's a tough one Mel. Seems like his body language is saying he's open to you, so maybe you do the difficult thing and just say hello! It doesn't mean you're going steady, doesn't mean you're going to ask him to prom ~ you're simply saying hello. Gauge his reaction to you and move on accordingly. And don't forget you've got a paper due on the Second Law of Thermodynamics in the morning ~ now get some sleep!! LOL

ok try to stare... if he keep staring he may be like u... u just say hey in a low voice or by ur hand... just ;) If he likes u he will come after the class and talk to u believe me and if he don.. try when u see him the next time to say hey and he'll talk then.....

ok, at least it sounded good..
a smile works wonders.. if he sits across from you , just smile once , watch him to REALLY see if he's looking AT you. then SMILE a big smile, and after, see if he strikes up a conversation if not after class..
If not , you go for it..

Well try to strike up a conversation with him in class, or go by his locker and leave you name and number and ask him to call you if you are too shy to confront him...
