We have known each other 10 years and have been romantically involved the last 3. I was saving up for a ring to pop the big question and planned a surprise trip to hawaii in June.

Well I am obviously done with her.
I have a few problems:
We live together and share a lease to a 1 bedroom apartment. (yes 1 bedroom)
the lease is not up until October.
She won't leave and let me have the apartment to myself.
Her family is 1,000 miles away, she came out here to live with me last year.
I even said she could have the place to herself, she does not want to be stuck with the bills that is in BOTH of our names by herself.

I would appreciate advice from anyone.

I first want to let you know that you've got a lot to consider. Just because someone has cheated on you doesn't mean that leaving them is the answer to the situation. Right now you're probably so angry that you can't even think straight.

Do you consider her to be your soul mate?
Were you attending to her needs?
What exactly do you want in a wife?

Sharing an apartment is the least of your worries. If you can't move a resolution/arrangement can be made once you decide to no longer be together and your anger subsides. Don't rule out talking to the landlord about your particual situation.

However, this is really about getting to the root of her infidelity. Obviously there are some things that you didn't know about Mrs. Right before she became Mrs. Wrong. The universe is on your side. It's better that you found out now than later. Maybe she's angry at you or maybe she resents you, maybe she's knows you cheated on her...you'll never know until you talk it out.

The best part of this advice is to see yourself as un-unique; thousands of people break up everyday. Your girlfriend's cheating is not about you; it's about her inability to be loyal and committed. And if she can violate your trust while living with you she is not worthy of you or your name.

You'll be ok. Just stay strong.

M.

Well, the contract is not done until October so let her have the place. Let her know that the bills is under both of your names but she is the one who will be paying them since she doesn't or can't move. I would try to talk to her and figure out a way to fix this problem because then your end up in one of those t.v. court shows.

Why dont you leave and take your name off the lease. i heard whoever gets to the leasing office first to take thier name off the lease can, and the other person is liabile for the rest of it.

there not much you can do, but try to work something out where both of you can make this work. if she does not
want to move out because of the bills then put something
in writing, stated that you will pay the bills that you owe.get
a lawyer.. you should not have to deal with this. it over
let it be over.

Well my guess is that really the only thing you can do is leave and if you're moved out and she's not it's not your fault the bill's are expensive, so technically it's her responsibility.... Good Luck!

So I take it you've decided that this relationship is absolutely not salvageable?

If she won't move, you need to. You can take your names off bills and the apartment. It's her responsibility to deal with them now, but you need to make sure she doesn't ruin your name doing it.
