Has anyone had this mattress? I slept on it last night and my entire back is killing me! Someone said that it may be because it's new and it takes a few days to get used to a new mattress. I don't ever remember a new mattress hurting me. HELP! Any tips?

My back feels like I have been hit right across the back. I've heard it may take a week to get used to a new mattress, but I've never experienced that before. I bought a 3" topper. I've always had very firm mattresses but loved them. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

Return it if you can. Otherwise buy a pillow top mattress pad to go over it. Some extra firm mattresses are like rocks.

Uh-oh! You wouldn't be a very good advertisement for Sealy, would you?? Those mattresses are supposed to help the back, not hurt it. Maybe it's too soft or too firm, and you'll have to get used to it. If the back pain persists, something else might be going on, and you'll need to see a doctor. Give it a few more days and see if the pain improves. If not, then see your doc.

I have one too and someone told me it is because my "back was used to being in the wrong position" but after a year
i still hate this thing. It makes me dream of viscoelastic memory cells:) I think they were more concerned with support than comfort when they made these. I say try it out for a week and if you cant get used to it see if you can return it

My tip would be to get a refund immediately, and sleeping on a firmer bed is good for your back.
