And do you always forget what you say the next day?

I think it's the subconscious voice coming out...

Alcohol lowers our inhibitions, therefore I think, it loosely lets things you really mean come out.

Somethings I remember. Not all, 'cause my friends will fill me in what I don't remember!

you ever heard the sayin a drunk mans words is a sober mans thoughts, most time when something is on ones mind they may not speak it then but several beers later the drunk wants to get brave and say things that he had been thanking, but a drunk will say hurtfull things at the same time that they dont mean and most the time the next day when it comes back up in a conversation "i dont remember saying that"they are to ashamed by their own behavor they pawn it off as that . its just they got caught up in a moment of anger and let it all out because they may be hurt by something that has been said or done or just plain insecure and that is why people say hurtfull things tothe one they love/careabout they just want to hurt you with words the way their ego has been hurt to make them feel better...but the next day is usually a differant story they are always sorry.but words can hurt more than a bruise the bruise will go away but words will stick for a long time and if you cant forget how can you forgive

I think most of the time people mean what they say when they are drinking. UNLESS they are really drunk. I say somethings I mean when I'm drunk but then feel embarrassed about them the next day and will say I don't remember what happened the night before. Other times I really don't remember the night before

Sometimes they mean it and other times they are too drunk to remember waht they say. I know when i'm drunk sometimes i say what i mean and other times i'm too drunk to know wether i'm thinking it or saying it out loud. Then the next day i remember little bits of it or nothing at all depending on how plastered i was. I had a friend tell me he wanted to f**k me the other night and i'm questioning wether he meant it or what, we've been friends for ages and he's good mates with my ex so even i have no idea of this answer.

yes, the things people say and do when drunk are more of what they ACTUALLY think and want to do. when not drunk they realize and think y they wouldnt normally do so. when drunk that goes away. now yes, there is a point where u get so intoxicated (you can barely walk) that u will say and do most anything but im not talking about that.

i think that alcohol can sometimes be a truth serum. some people will tell someone that they love them, and other people are just mean, even though they are the sweetest acting person ever! i have been drunk only a few times, and i have always remembered what i did or said. if someone says they didn't, then they are lying to save themselves the embarrassment. don't believe them.

No, I don't believe so. There are mean drunks and sappy drunks. I've known both. Being drunk means you are altered. Why would one think they mean what they say if they can't even stay standing up, or drive, etc.

I think in general people mean what they say when they are drunk a lot more than they mean what they do!
