My full sized 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis with a V8 gets 18 in the city & 26 on the highway. Weights about 4,000lbs so thats great for a full size car or truck.

Depends on the car. If you can get that with a Hummer, you're doing good; if you're driving a Prius, it sucks. My minivan gets 20 in the city and 24 on the road, so I drive it only when I need to.

It depends what it is, overall it's low even for city but if it's a full size pick-up for work that's good.
