I had recurring nosebleeds from one nostril for years.
It was the same blood vessel, but I never had it cauterized and it hasn't done it in a long time.

Mine was definitely related to allergies, if my nose got dried out or inflamed it would start bleeding considerably. It will still happen occasionally if I'm in a very dry and hot room. (usually only indoors)

Drink more water, take sinus medication if you need it, and -this is uncomfortable, but it works- put some vaseline in your nose. Do that for a while and the problem should go away.

When your nose gets all dry on the inside from allergies, it will bleed. It's not a nosebleed per se, it doesn't gush out. You can use nasal sprays and drinking lots of water to stay hydrated and I also take an allergy pill like Alavert to prevent it.

No. You have a weak vein in your nose that keeps rupturing. It should be cauterized by a Dr. It's painless.
