Mayweather will win if sticks to the outside and move away from De La Hoya after each clean hit that scores on the judges cards. De La Hoya gets frustated on fighters who bob and weave with successful punches that connect. De La Hoya will win if he constantly applies pressure on Mayweather pushing him towards the ropes and landing punches to the body wearing Mayweather down. I think with all that speed Mayweather has I think Mayweather has a glass chin and it will be tested if De La Hoya lands a perfect left hook like he did against Mayorga. And Mayweather will retire because their is too much competetion in the welterweight division that want his belt like Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, Judah (revenge to loss), and up and coming fighters like Berto and Collazo.

Depends on the pacing. If Mayweather sets a torrid pace, and Oscar tries to keep up[, push him to the ropes, land big shots and his superb left hook, it could be a long night. Floyd will not be an easy target and Oscar could tire. De la hoya has the power to hurt Floyd, but will he land enough? Oscar must dictate the tempo. I see Oscar jabbing Mayweather from a comfortable distance, firing and landing big shots when Mayweather comes in. If De La Hoya has one fight left, and he stratigizes correctly, go for Oscar to win a lclose fight.

DLH will win, Mayweather has not gone up against anyone with the power or skill of Oscar, and for the retiring thing, its just to get people into the fight, its a gimmick, DLH is retiring afterwards, so thats big, so if Mayweather says he is retiring also, that means this will be the last time you would be able to see two of the best boxers in the world today, which will sell more pay per views and tickets. nice job Floyd, you got me, im buying.

floyd is not going to be some goof fighting way past the hints that he should retire...its also well documented that he has more fragile hands than leonard did before he turned pro, floyd has injured them a number of times...fact of the matter is...he has few opponents left after oscar that can generate the buzz and the income that this fight will...and for the record, floyd is not some heavy bag with a big mouth and no boxing skills like mayorga was...that was the perfect set up fight for oscar to get his last title belt...

mayweather will win because he's younger and way faster and has better skills, he probaly wants to retire because he's scare that if he keeps fighting he might get beat and he wont retire undefeated
