Spray Bitter Apple (available to Petco/Petsmart) on the socks. It will make them taste very bitter and the pup will soon get the hint to leave the socks alone.

Don't use socks as a plaything. If he had them as a plaything as a puppy, he still believes that socks are to play with, and will take them any way that he can, because he correlates them with fun.

Your dog needs basic training. There's a command call "leave it." That would work, but the best thing is to take a good class, and learn all about obedience yourself. You won't be able to train your dog until you have an understanding of dog obedience training.

My dogs is aware of my sons identify. I ask her to seek out Oskar and she or he runs to him. It's traditionally due to the fact he's best a toddler and i am consistently pronouncing his identify, and had been at home most of the day so she's hearing me name his name so much :)

You can have a spray bottle filled with water around and when he does it, just spray his face. After doing that for a while he should quit. That works for anything that you do not want him to do. It's a safe (and cheap) way to discipline him.

Our dog used to chew on things and one of our friends told us to tie whatever they chew to their collar..seems kinda harsh but not really...they get so annoyed with it! (tie it close enough to were it doesnt hang down so they can still chew!) anyway, they get so annoyed that they literally give up the battle we had our dog trained not to chew in less than a month.
