Elgin Texas is in Bastrop county. If you are looking for the names of your neighbors you can go to the Bastrop Central Appraisal District Web site.
Here is the link:
http://www.bastropcad.org/Appraisal/PublicAccess/PropertySearch.aspx?PropertySearchType=3&SelectedItem=9&PropertyID=&PropertyOwnerID=&NodeID=11
Type in Arbors in street name. Don't fill in anything else. You will then see the names of all of your neighbors.
This will bring up the owner information of all of the houses on your street. Just because someone is listed as the owner doesn't mean they live there. They could be renting their property. The appraisal district is the same as the assessors offices in other states. They set the values on the property and maintain exemptions.
I hope this helps. Blessings.

Since you didn't tell us what neighbors you were looking for...I notice while doing research that you live in a gated community. Gated communities always have associations...Yours is no different.
Here are some events coming up in your neighborhood that will allow you to meet and mingle with other people in your area.

well you don't say what kind of houseing we are talking about. If you have tried the web and can't find the address you are looking at, you can go to the city clerk and ask them who owns the land at xyz .. then ask the owner who is buying or renting. If you suspect something illegal going on, you could talk to the police. If its a rental apartment, ask the landlord or manager. If you know where the taxes are paid you could ask them who owns the land also.
You don't say why you want to know.. If you feel safe, go next door with a plate of cookies if they are new. Tell them welcome to the neighborhood. Give them your name and ask them theirs in case anybody is looking for them or in case mail comes to your house. Somebody on here will surely be able to give you the web address of the sex offender list.. (I hope). There are sites on the net that will take your 15 bucks and give you access to look up people by phone, address, name, place of employment.. for myself I'd ask the people that live on the other side of my closest neighbor because they own the house.. lol.. We have lived next to the rental for 60 years, the owner and my kids went to school together and we have a good relationship. Good luck on your search.

I guess if you're not sure about their backgrounds, start with the Sex Offender watchlist, Texas Bureau of Corrections website, and your local police department.
If you're just being nosey, pay the $40 for one of those online background checks at www.intelius.com
Otherwise, make a nice pie and go over there and introduce yourself.

It would be a lot easier to knock on the door, stick out your hand, and introduce yourself....
