Well it depends. If He or She is mature enough to handle a relationship not unless if they are ready to commit and get married, of course that will be a different story.
Serious relationship is a matter of time, how he/she thinks and if you are in the high level of your intimacy with your partner.
18 yrs. old maybe not yet... I will say, in the right time.

No, not at all! I dont want to encourage anything but I got married a week before my 19th birthday. I got slack from people about it here and there but here it is 11 years later and Im still very happily married! I think that the age just applies to different people though. Some are mature enough to be in a serious relationship and some arent.

Depends on the 18 year-old.

I will tell you that more than half of all relationships starting in their teens do not last past 30 years old.

That is because we are not fully "formed" when we are 18.

Heck, we don't even know who we are at 18.

How do you know what you are looking for in a permanent mate if you don't even know who you are?

Love at any age, weather it be 8 or 18, is love. No one should be-little anyone when they say they are in love, no matter what age they are .

The older we get the idea of love changes, we grow and with that our need for love changes..

So yes, I think a person at 18 can be in a serious relationship.

I think it is too young to take the relationship very far. I also believe that at 18 you have a lot of changes to still go through. The late teens and early twenties are terrific years to plan your future, and to have some fun, travel, study etc. and those things are easier to do when you are free.

If by serious you mean till death do us part... it's a long long time from here to there and there will be multiple opportunities to change your mind. The important thing are you mature enough to make a commitment to a serious relationship. My grandparents married when she was 15 and he was 17 they stayed married for the rest of their lives into their late 70's and from what we could tell they were extremely happy. However, they were emotionally, physically and spiritually committed. How committed are you willing to be. ONLY you can answer your question.

For most people it is. At 18 one is still very much in the process of maturing in many ways, most problems in a relationship root from that at a younger age. There are so many things going on individually that sometimes being concerned with a relationship is that much harder. But not everyone, just most.

properly, i'm an 18 365 days previous female and that i'd like a severe relationship. lots of the adult adult males in my college are already in a relationship, and that's like those that at the instant are not..do no longer % to be,. So i think of it would be ok thus far older adult adult males. besides the fact that, the oldest i might flow precise now at virtually 18.5 is 22 till it grew to become right into a particular venture. Like I knew the guy older than that extremely properly, or something like that.
