I sublet my apartment to an international student. He did not pay rent for the last month and then went to Europe. He will not come back to my apartment. I don't know where he is and I do not think I can find him again. If I report to police, will he got caught at the airport when he come back from Europe?

If you are here in the U.S., then this is not a criminal matter. This is a civil matter.

No, he won't be arrested. In fact, the police will not take a report. They will probably direct you to the clerk of court for advice on filing for an eviction.

No way. They can only catch you at the airport if you did something serios and if you're wanted by INTERPOL. Without that, its impossible to ever catch him again.
