Should I ask my best friend out???

I know this girl Jaime and we been best friends for 4 years now and I really like her. She has been flirting with me lately and all of her friends tell us that we would be perfect together. They all tell me that she loves me and one of them know i love her. The thing is I don't want to ruin our friendship. I been really worried about that because my friend was bestfriends with a girl and when they broke up they weren't friends again and hated each other. I can talk to her about anything on my mind. And so can she. And how should I ask her out because I don't want it to feel awkward.

ok man heres the thing If u love her go and talk to her tell her about ur feeling tell her that U know that shes ur best friend but u lately feel strange... u feel U like her in different way than before... tell her that she is pretty and U cant live without her... man say anything in ur mind... If U don sure she likes u ... It is unlikely you will remain best FRIENDS. Obviously, there is something more than friends-only going on anyway, so ask her out.
If you can talk about anything, as you say, perhaps asking her out as you would anyone else is not the way. Maybe you should simply start by asking her to go out to dinner with you or wherever and let the thing take it's own course.

Ask her if she wants to go farther, and if yes, then take it slowly. and in the beginning of the relationship, dont forget to tell her and make her promise that if you guys break up, you guys will still be friends. it should work out ok. this Jamie girl seems ok. i dont think u guys will hate each other if you guys break up.
