STUFFY NoSE!?

Question

I have a HUGE stuffy nose so i went to a local rite aid and bought Vicks Vapor Inhaler and its not working so im stuck with this stuffy nose!

Should i try it again?
I really cant go back out because my dad drove me ( im only 13 )

So any homemade methods. ( ps the boling water and using the steam did work for me )

What do i do!!?

Keep using the inhaler. You can't smell it right now and it takes time but it IS reducing the swelling in your nose so keep doing it. Take some ibuprofen if you have it. It will also reduce swelling. Drinking plenty of water helps too. You can take a hot shower and breath as deeply as you can while in there. You should have gotten the Vicks Vapo rub. You can use that with the steam. If you have a vaporizer at home, use it tonight. Right next to the bed but not too close.

Being 13, I will assume that you do not have high blood pressure, and would recommend something containing pseudoephedrine. Your dad would have to buy it for you because it is sold behind the counter now thanks to dopeheads that like to use it to make meth. No, it's not bad stuff, but it is a stimulant that would likely cause you to have trouble sleeping. In light of this, at night time you could take chlorphenairamine -containing products like Chlor-Trimeton. This is an old antihistamine that dries me up pretty well, but makes me drowsy. When I was around your age and got a cold, my chest would be rubbed down with Vicks Vaporub at bedtime. I didn't like how it felt, but it worked because you breathe it in constantly unlike the inhaler.
