Aloe Vera is number one. Try to go natural if you have a plant. To use the plant just cut off a piece of the leaf and slice it through the middle. Inside will be this goo that you can put on your burns.

It is always better to refrigerate the gel too.

Other than that, try some fragrance free lotion and stay clear of exfoliating body wash. The abrasions will make it hurt like mad crazy. Also, try ice packs on the really bad parts and DO NOT pop blisters.

Good Luck, and remember your SPF!

Oh and a note to the above....You should never put your damaged skin near icy cold for more than ten min. at a time. This can cuase more damage than good.

Put alow vera gel on it, or an aloe spray (from the health store) then you can get a wash rag really cold and lay it over your skin. ALSO... You shoud start with a cool bath with vinegar in the water. If you do this you will feel so much better!

mix 2 cups of whole milk with 1 cup of warm water. then use a washcloth and dab(not rub) on your sunburn. this will also help take out the redness. (used it when i got sun poisoning)

also you can try regular aloe vera. they come in bottles at the store. put them in the refridgerator for a while too keep it cool.and then there is the aloe plant. just slit it down the side and spread the "juice" on your sunburn.

Soak in a cool (not cold) bath for thirty minutes or so. Pat dry, not rub. Apply aloe vera gel to burned areas. This always works for me, and I am a red-head that has sunburned all of his life.

Put some aloe vera gel. It gives it a cooling effect and it makes it feel really good! and you could find it at any drugstore or target or something like that.

Hope your burn feels better

aloe vera works well and helps keep the damaged skin hydrated. a couple advil and a cool bath always makes mine feel better (as long as you are not allergic to advil, of course). the advil also helps decrease swelling if it is a bad burn.

If you could get Calendula cream from a hoemopathic stores or healthfood stores in your area, it would help. Rescue Remedy Cream is another worth trying product.
