Use aloe vera gel. You can find it at a pharmacy. I know Walgreen's usually carries it all the time.
I have found that if you refrigerate it that it feels even better on your sun burn.
There are also pain relieving sprays for sun burns that you can buy. I bet the aloe vera gel will be your best bet though.
Go to your local pharmacy and ask or send a friend or family member to go for you if you are in too much pain.
Also, drink plenty of fluids (Not particularly pop though....drink water) because you are dehydrated and that will help heal your burn faster.

What I normally use for sunburn/itching is some type of aloe vera gel generously on the affected areas. It helps heal the damaged skin and minimizes the itching. I usually get mine at Walmart, but I'm sure you can find it at most health or natural food stores. As far as the weird taste, that is more usually associated with the use of sunscreen lotions, but could be caused by a number of things. Since it started after the sunburn, I'm inclined to think it's associated in some way.

Depends on how wide spread it is. If it's just in one local area, like your cheeks or shoulders, well you can put mustard on it...sounds crazy but it really works. Or buy some benzocaine spray that numbs and cools it. You can put aloe vera on it. Taking ibuprophen or tylenol will relieve the pain.
Keep it moist so it doesn't dry out too much. My favorite technique is to put an oil based baby lotion on, then apply room temperature wet cloths to the burned area. The key is to bring the temperature of your skin to that of the room you are in.

Apple cider vinegar works the best. Fill your tub with lukewarm water and dump about 4-6 cups of ACV in, then soak for 20 minutes. Also, use an aloe vera gel that contains lidocaine (the gel is usually blue, not green). If you can, put a few cups of oatmeal into the food processor and get it down to a fine dust. Soaking in a tub with the processed oats also helps.

Ive been burned many times and the only stuff that immediately eased the pain had eucaliptous, tea tree, and aloe. I don't rememeber the name of the the stuff but we kept it in the fridge and it not only stopped the burn but turned it into tan. My wife bought it from a beach bum in Florida. I thought she just found him to be cute but the stuff works like nothing I've tried before.

the best relief that I know of is tea bags. Put wet tea bags on the burn, it will pull it out. The second best is aloe vera lotion or anything with aloe in it. The third way is with bactine. I hope you got your fill of the sun. It makes your skin thick and it looks like an alligator bag.

There is this lotion that is sold at most stores called SARNA. It relieves the pain immediately and helps the sunburn go away very, very fast. My fiance's father told me about it when I had a sunburn and I didn't believe it until I tried it and now I keep some on hand at all times.
