looking to buy camera lens 18-200mm. Which is best Sigma or Tamron?

I have used both Tamron and Sigma lenses for 35mm film, the last was a Sigma aspherical zoom. either brand provides quality optics and economical pricing.

the 18-200mm versions are comparible, and both are suited for digital photography only, not 35mm.
