I think five months is a bit to soon for you to be asking where the relationship is going. I understand that you are anxious about the relationship, but what is best for you to do is to take it one day at a time.
Get to know him well, not just what he likes or don't like, get to know how he thinks, what his personality is and how he likes to be treated. Once you know him enough, show him that you are interested to take the relationship to another level. Show him that you are the one, not just some other person that wants him to be around. Being in a relationship takes more than sex, you both have to care and understand how each other thinks, feels and work. Give him some space for himself, since most guys thinks about a relationship on their own time and their own way.
You can ask him the question, but I think that it is a bit to soon.

It quite is determined by the woman too. I was once really unbiased earlier than I met my boyfriend (and nonetheless am!). We each funny story round, I'm there for him if he wishes to rant approximately whatever or demands aid with a choice, and I pay attention I deliver quality again rubs. And, truthfully, I love serving to him keep his cash (we are each scholars and I've been raised to be a wise-customer). Not to toot my possess horn, however I'd say I'm wise and a laugh to be round. Funny factor, that you just discover it unfair that men are constantly seeming to chase the women. I'm infamous for "chasing" men, and from private enjoy, I consider like I'm killing the chase for them. I was once very dissatisfied that I needed to watch for him to return to me (I say "was once" considering that my present boyfriend simply fell into situation). I figured that, at the same time it was once an ego-spice up for the men I was once after, they did not have a tendency to take a bigger curiosity in me. You desire what you can not have? I certainly not concept it might paintings. But when you give up watching and simply allow your self experience lifestyles, you discover any person who loves you for who you're. Guess it is my new love motto, and I say this after thorough checking out. Good success!!

Well i think its been long enough. I was living with my spouse when he came into some money, so I sat him down and said that he may want to use it to buy a ring for me, i also told him that he didnt have to propse anytime soon but if he never had plans on it to let me know now so I could get the heck out.

Before you have sex with a man or enter into a committed relationship with a man you need to ask him "What are your intentions towards me?"

I asked my boyfriend this question about three months of dating (before we had sex) and he said that he wanted to marry me...I did not expect that response but it was very clear how he felt about me after that comment. And, I think I will have a proposal and a ring sometime this year.

You have to communicate and don't be afraid to ask the question. I mean you are not asking him to tell you if he wants to marry you or anything, but you need to know where his heart is...you have a right to know where his heart is if he continues to be in a relationship with you.

It is not too soon. You deserve to know. You have invested 5 months of your life and why waste anymore time if he is not wanting to take it to the next level?

If you feel the time is right, you should go ahead and ask. Whats the worst that can happen? Life is about taking chances, so think about what you really want.

Take your time. If he's paying attention to you and responsive and shows he cares about you, then it's heading somewhere. If he acts only somewhat interested or you don't feel good when you're with him/about the relationship then it's not.

Marriage!!!!???? Way to soon! Allow a couple yrs or he will think your too eager and needy. You really should know a person inside and out before you marry. L
