Exercise will definitely calm you down, also deep breathing can help or listening to calming music. Also think about what is the cause of your anxiety and if it will be such a big deal when you look at the big picture.

have you always been this way? if not try to figure out when your anxiety started it could be your job,your relationship,or anything in your life that could have caused it.i think some people have disorders and the anxiety comes more from within them,and other people have anxiety problems because of the events and the things happening outside of them like job pressure,family problems,money problems etc. i drank beer everyday then went to the doctor and have been on anxiety meds ever since. i hear about yoga,good diets natural over the counter stuff exercise,meditation,i don't know but i think you should try everything else first before you go see a doctor

There are several ways.

Have you tried acupuncture? How about meditation? You need to know how to properly meditate. You should see a professional about that.

Cut coffee, and alcohol. Exercise more. Engage either prayer or meditation. Get a pet! If you are in a relationship, have more sex.

relax...take deep breaths...talk to friends or family or anyone about what is really bothering you. you have to talk yourself out of it when you start feeling anxious and relize that it is just adrenaline making you feel like that. excersize eat healthy stay away from refined sugars.

get some relaxation tapes or cds, I use self hypnosis was taught by a doctor. it works for me
