There's a tough one. I currently have four tattoos. I did not like the colours in the tattoo I got a few years ago, so I went to a tattoo artist and had the colours redone. It now looks much better. I think you should go and see a tattoo artist and let him/her know what you would like to have done. They'll tell you if they can do it or not.

Not unless you get a different color tattooed over it. Go to a really good artist or the color may come out wrong. I wouldnt mess with it unless you really cant stand the color.

Some colors are harder to push into the skin and have a tendency to fade over time, it depends on the color and your skin type. You may have to keep getting it recolored.

Yeah of course you can, although keep in mind much easier to change to a darker shade of a colour than going lighter.
This is how my friends don't get bored with their tats, they have the entire thing redone (total new drawing and colour scheme)

you wont know till over time. it just depends on the amount of sun exposure and the way you take care of it. after its healed put sunscreen on it before going out in direct sunlight to keep the color from getting damaged. it also helps to put lotion on it once its healed to keep the color bright.

sometimes, depending on the color. like if you have yellow your artist can make it orange or red but if you have black you can't make it hot pink. the best thing you can do is go to your artist and see what they will be able to do.

You can have it colored over. It may take two or three tries, especially with darker colors.
