i do not think that nascar is fixed in the sense that pro wrestling is fixed. However I do believe that many rulings are made during races to raise entertainment value. The most glaring example of course, is the yellow flags for debris that seem to come out when it can cause a green yellow finish or keep someone from lapping too many cars.

How can Nascar fix races, if Nascar fixes races you'd be able to tell, my cousin said that Nascar drivers take steriods,
that was the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

Fixed? Not necessarly. If NASCAR fixed races, and that got out, the reprecussions of fixing the races could kill NASCAR. I do belive though that NASCAR does look the other way, or just slaps on the wrist whenever one of their golden boys gets in trouble lately (48, 24, 8, 20)
