age of wallpaper?

I know that the wallpaper in my kitchen had been pulled off and painted over sometime in the past and when I looked under my kitchen sink I saw that the old wall paper was still there is there anywhere on the internet I can go to look up the pattern to see what year it is from?

Do you really have the time to look for a needle in a stack of needles.
you may get lucky and find some form of number on the back of the wall paper I've seen this like one out of a hundred times.

If you really want to know you might want to follow the who owned the house and if they kept good records.
