I will be staying on Decatur street for 2 nights in April. I have been told valet parking is $25 per night. If we do not plan to move our car until check out, how much do the parking lots at Jax brewery and the Aquarium charge for full day parking? I would also kind of like to know exactly where my car is.

Parking in the French Quarter is unusually expensive, $25 sounds about right. Some hotels have free parking, it would be good if you would call the hotel and check and ask what they recommend. You could take your car to the airport and ride the shuttle back, park in the long term parking. You could also use a parking lot outside of the quarter and take a taxi back. I don't know what the parking fee is for the aquarium or jax brewery, but I have never seen parking at the aquarium and the parking at Jax is an open lot with an attendant.
By the Way, Try "Mothers" restaurant in the Garden District. Not fancy at all, but great food and worth the experience. You can walk from the quarter. Have fun.

There are pay parking lots all over down there and they all have a price list. I don't think any of them is close to $25 so check those out. They keep out the rif-raf.

i think this wil help better than i can tell you, but know that parking anywhere in new orleans is a nightmare, but be aware of were you park at i.e. just cause you park by a police station doesn't mean your car is safe. i kno from experiance. lol http://www.frenchquarter.com/shopping/ParkingRouletteStory.php
