My wedding is september 1st and my fiance and I want to spend some time on an island but we dont know what islands are best to visit in september.

I would focus on searching for islands that are outside of the hurricane belt during this time. I used yahoo travel to research islands for our October honeymoon. They have a lot of information about the weather (hurricane season) and when is the best time to visit. Another great site is http://www.frommers.com
It's been awhile since I searched for places, but do know that Hawaii and Aruba are outside the hurricane belt. We went to Hawaii and loved it! My unlce and his wife went to Aruba and had a great time too.

Agree with responder number 1, September is bad weather time for a lot of places. We went to Cozumel, Mexico and we had it bad. It was raining so hard (sideways) that it was actually coming underneath the door.
Stay away from the islands down yonder if you can! You will be glad you did.

I would not like to visit no island around that time of the year due to weather conditions permitting and uncertain.

I stay in Virginia and that i in my opinion want to pass to Hawaii. Virginia is alluring too with the blue ridge mountains, VA capes, the beaches, rivers and our surroundings. i'd desire to by no skill pass away to stay someplace else yet i could definitely pass to Hawaii nonetheless. that's domicile nonetheless I dream of being on the sea coast in Hawaii

Try Hawaii. Yes, it is Hurricane season, but we haven't had one in 15 years.
