or does all rapture information come from pre-revelation books in the bible?

The rapture is primarily discussed in I Thessalonians 4:17, which says that we will be "caught up." The Greek word is "harpazo." The Latin word that was translated from the Greek is "rapere" (or variants such as rapiemur), which means to seize violently. Further, the rapture is clearly described in several other passages, with 1 Corinthians 15:51-57, II Corinthians 12:2-4, and John 14:1-3 as examples.

Revelation is implicit (as opposed to explicit) about the rapture. You can see that there is a church age in Revelation chapters 2 through 3, and then chapter 4 discusses the things that happen after the church age. Where did the church go? It was taken away (caught up, or raptured).

Archangels got the right verse for you. The whole book of Revelations tells everything that will go on. There is actually a series of books "Left Behind". It is based on Revelations. I had a hard time understanding everything in this book of the Bible. The series of books is written in today's times and really helps give a good understanding of what will happen with the Rapture and Christ's second coming to earth.

The origins of the doctrine of the rapture are hotly debated. The Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches, which represent the majority of Christians worldwide, have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and in part because they do not interpret the scriptures the way that Rapture-believers do.

that's a recognition given to the prophecies in the bible whilst Jesus will return in the clouds with a noisy trumpet blast and deliver his angels international huge to take the Christians with him leaving human beings against God to stay in the back of. purely ask your minister/priest to describe it to you. this is spoke of all in direction of the bible, purely "rapture" is what we consult from it as. this is Jesus' 2nd coming. And we heavily isn't "zapped" we are able to pass willingly and pass away all others in the back of. this is area of all Christian religions and not from any cults. right this is what Jesus reported approximately it: Matthew 24:27-31 (New residing Translation) 27 For because of the fact the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it's going to be whilst the Son of guy[a] comes. 28 purely because of the fact the accumulating of vultures shows there's a carcass interior sight, so those indications point out that the tip is close to.[b] 29 “immediately after the soreness of those days, the solar would be darkened, the moon will provide no easy, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens would be shaken.[c] 30 and then finally, the sign that the Son of guy is coming will look in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning between each and all of the peoples of the earth. and that they are going to see the Son of guy drawing near the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will deliver out his angels with the stable blast of a trumpet, and that they are going to assemble his chosen ones from international huge[e]—from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven. it is likewise in Isaiah 13:10 & 34:4, Joel 2:10, and Daniel 7:13

You will not find anything written anywhere in The Word that relates to a rapture. It is a false doctrine introduced by a mental case and some ministers decided to go with it even after the woman said it felt like a vision from the evil one. The reason Paul wrote two different letters is because God knew that the first one would be confusing to some. Think about where Paul says that we will not preceed the dead. Of course not... they are already there. :) I know that no matter what I say here I will get some more thumbs down becuase people are generally whimpy and would love to think they won't have to endure any hardships, just fly away to Heave but for those who may come across this and really DO want to know the truth I came back to edit it for one reason. To tell you this... Paul spoke street Greek. He knew the full dialect of the language but spoke to others on their own level. Have you never heard of the saying. " a cloud of dust" or a " cloud of locust" ? When The Word says He will come in the clouds of glory, He is talking about a cloud of witnesses. Those who have already crossed over and will come with Him as Heaven is coming HERE. We aren't going anywhere. I pray for your eyes to be opened to the truth so that you while going through the millenium, you won't have to be taught. Hopefully you can be one of the teachers.

It plainly says that Jesus will appear in the clouds with a million trumpets blown by angels circling the earth and then the Rupture.

Two ladies will be in the laundromat folding clothes, and the laundromat will rupture and one will be taken and the other left.

Two will be stopped at a stop sign and the vehicle will rupture and one will be taken and the other left.

And then Jesus' half-cousin Bob will appear and gather all the applications, and other things will happen, and a whole bunch of stuff; and all the church people will start singing anthems and commence to levitate.

Read the Bood of Revelation for more details. The Rupture will really commence in earnest and 911 calls will go crazy.

It doesn't . This is something thought up to try to get the "one up" on people. It is a matter of pure foolish pride that people think they should be the ones to escape any suffering. They do not know their soul's condition, I'll tell ya that right now.

Revelation 11:11-12 Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. 12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.
