Fedor outweights Hughes by around 60 lbs, a super heavyweight champion against a former welter weight. Fedor would kill Hughes, just on the size difference.
Shogun outweights GSP by around 30 lbs, even though they are both very skilled fighters, I'd give the edge to Shogun just because of the size difference.

Actually it is "Georges" not "George."
Hughes vs Emelianenko is too much of a size difference. Hughes fights at 170 lbs. and Fedor usually fights around 230 lbs. Fedor would easily win.
When both fighters are at the top of their division it is the bigger man who usually wins. Unless you have someone who isn't as skilled like Eric "Butterbean" Esch (350 lbs+) who lost to Genki Sudo (155 lbs.).
St. Pierre vs Shogun is a closer matchup but I still feel the size difference I mentioned above is too much to overcome. Granted, St. Pierre is a huge Welterweight who could easily fight at 185 lbs..
St. Pierre could hang (I think a win would still be hard to come by) with some of the Middleweights (Franklin, Marquardt, Henderson, Silva) but would get manhandled by the big Light Heavyweights of the world (Liddell, Shogun, Wanderlei).
Those are some interesting "what if" matches but the Welterweight division is so stacked that you could go crazy thinking of all the great fights to come without making the two best fighters move up in weight. Hughes vs Parisyan, Parisyan vs Penn, Penn vs Diego Sanchez, Hughes vs Sanchez, St. Pierre vs Sanchez, St. Pierre vs Penn, St. Pierre vs Hughes.

First, these match ups are ridiculous. If you're asking who's better pound for pound that would make more sense, but the answers wouldn't change. Fedor is the best in the world, period. GSP is great pfp, but Rua is basically a bigger version of GSP but with a better ground game. Which brings me to Seabreeze...Did you not see Shogun's last fight? He absolutely owned Allister Overheem, his injury is healed.

Only a true idiot would choose Hughes over Fedor. Why would anyone even need to ask that question? John? John? That tells me a lot about the person asking this question. Maybe you should read up on your mma before you ask any more stupid questions.

WTF! People always complain pride fight was a mismatch. I guess it's a good thing you're not matchmaker for MMA.
Fedor would eat Matt alive and Shogun would beat JSP since he's a no body. Never heard of JSP so I guess he must be a small org fighter.
On other hand GSP probably would be more tough for Shogun, but Shogun would still win anyway.

Fedor would kill Matt Hughes. GSP would do well against Shogun but Shogun would win with his standup.

The contract is not completely signed and the deals details are not fully disclosed to the public yet.
The fact that Prides fighters are from a worldwide pool is a definate plus for any action that happens between the two franchises.
I'm sure that everyone is anticipating the announcement as much as anyone else.

Fedor out weighs him by about 50 pounds. Fedor easily wins. GSP is also undersized, but could beat Shogun. So Fedor easily beats him along with any other fighter alive today, GSP beats Shogun since the injury he suffered from Coleman.

if you ask Matt Hughes, he would say that Fedor would destroy him......GSP/JSP/John/Georges, whoever you're talking about vs. shogun would get his *** whooped. GSP hasn't faced someone who has this type of standup fighting style and power.....
