when I got my puppy a collar for the first time I got her a new squeaky ball as well.

I put the collar on and she immediately started trying to bite it and take it off. That's when I produced the toy and gave it a few squeaks! That distracted her from the collar and we started playing with the toy.

She still loves it. And never worried about her collar again. Even at bath time she is happy for me to take if off and on again.

i also have a 3 month old puppy that i am collar and leash training. I first began just putting on the collar and initially it drove her nuts but i just let her go and she finally seemed to forget about it. after a few weeks of that i decided to start the leash. Gradually, a few times a week i took her to our neighborhood park and put the leash on. At first she wanted nothing to do with it. She just stood there and looked at me like "what am i supposed to do now". Eventually she started walking around. I let her lead and decide where she wanted to go. I did this for about an hour each time and she finally caught on. She's still learning but she's come a long way with patience. It works..just work with your puppy, she'll catch on because she wants to please you. Good Luck!

Well, you need to put it on if only for a couple of min. a day. It would be better if you would wait until she forgot she had the collar on before you take it off.
