I don't think God cares which way you wear your hair...What were you thinking..gluing it in the shape of a cross?

I like the hair-do I've seen many conservative girls wear, where they pull back just a skinny strand of hair from each side of the front of their hair, and twist it a little, joining the 2 strands at the back into a sort of thin pony-tail thing. That wasn't a very good description, I hope you know what I'm talking about!
Or, you could do what I always did (and sometimes still do) which is to wear bobby pins pulling back just a bit of hair from the sides of the front. This gets the hair out of the face, which is practical.
Or, my favorite is to wear a simple black head band (my hair is black) to pull it back, but still letting it hang in the back. And then I bring some hair through the headband to the front, to have some hair at the side of my face.
Braids are nice too.
Long hair is versatile, and you can do a lot. That's the nice thing about it!

I think hair accesories may be more acceptable in some churches than others. Personally my opinion is that if an accesory is to be worn, it should not be "flashy" but rather more subdued so as not to detract from why we are attending the service to begin with. We should attempt to look our best for YHWH at His worship services but we should not be attempting to attract others with our looks at these services.
As for hair styles for long hair... My hair is 1/2 way down my back and I tend to prefer wearing either a single braid or a low pony tail. In our church women wear a mantilla so these tend to make it easier for my mantilla to stay in place.

Some churches are very strict about flashy ornaments and clothing for church wear. If you are not sure, wearing the hair pulled back on the side with a gold or silver barrette. parting on the side or pulling it back from the top. with a pretty clip and brushing the hair smoothly. You can also go with a mid to low chignon or bun/twist with maybe a sweeping bang.

I'm not sure what you mean by conservative side but any church house you visit should welcome you no matter what type of hair style you choose. God didn't design our souls all identical and I feel quite sure He doesn't expect us to all dress alike either. :) I forgot... where The Word says that women should have the covering over their head He is talking about having Christ over your head. I study The Word in it's original languages, Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. English just couldn't transliterate it completely.

Why yes you should be able to wear barretts or
anything you want in your hair
and like me we are girls
I also wear a scarf to cover my head
at times like around Easter
The bible mentions that women cover their head in church
it is a blessing to the Lord God
1 Corinthians 11:13 Judge for yourselves: Is it proper
for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?
15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory?
For long hair is given to her as a covering.
Look at 1 Corinthians 11:5 And every woman who prays
or prophesies with her head uncovered
dishonors her head-it is just as though her head were
shaved.
it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or
shaved off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her
hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head.
For we are the glory of man and it is proper to wear
your hair any way you want to

I don't see anything wrong with the way you fix your hair; leave it down and brush it, fix it up in curls, put bows or decorative hair things in it, what does it matter?
The Bible does say if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her. I would take that to mean God likes long hair on women.

Bikini wax works good.
With dry hair, melt wax into your hair and comb it out at a straight angle from your scalp. Cut ping pong balls in half, on top of each hemisphere draw a dark circle 1/2 inch in diameter, punch a hole in the center of the dark circle large enough to see through, open eyebrows wide, cover eye with balls and frown to hold hemipheres in place.
Now look in the mirror. If you can still take yourself seriously you might try atheism.
