Since I have tax returns and eagle scout money I was thinking about going hard drive but not sure if there are any good cameras out there that work with the new macs or not and what would you recommend I get for 500 or under?

Oh, by late xmas present I ment like last xmas present I was looking at JVC everios but I am still not sure, Going off to college soon and going to Chicago this summer so does anyone have any ideas on what I should get. I could wait a little longer but with anything as soon as I get the camera something better will come out for the same price...to bad places do not offer tradeup programs everytime they outdo what you have a week after your purchase eh?

On my calendar, Xmas is 9 months away. There could be some new & better stuff on the market by then, so why don't you wait a bit before making a decision?
