It's relatively mild, yet tangy, a bit sweet. It's made from oranges......so it has the essence of orange, but a tad more bitter than say, Grand Marnier. Yet, it's pleasant and offers a nice balance to drinks. Usually Blue Curacao is mixed with fruit juices or other mixers, most popular in the Blue Hawaiian. I love it, personally and think it makes for a festive and delicious drink.

Blue Curacuo is added primarily to give a drink color. It's a lot like grenadine-except that it's slightly sweet and citrisy. As stated above, it's usually used in exotic drinks.

It has a slight orange flavor, but is generally used to color drinks.
