all you can do for him tonight is make sure he has plenty of water available at all times and keep him comfortable and calm. You need to call for an appointment for him first thing monday and follow thru by taking him in for an exam.

You must take him to a veterinarian immediately before he gets worse. What you are noticing are warning signs that your dog is in trouble. Dogs-especially those that live out of doors- are extremely susceptible to parasites. You must take him to a vet and bring a sample of fresh stools for a thorough physical examination, including a fecal exam.

The problem with over the counter dewormers- as someone suggested, is that there are literally thousands of different species of worms, and no one drug can get rid of them all. By having a fecal preformed by a veterinarian or licensed technician, the exact species of worm (and the drug that it is susceptible to) can be determined and can actually save you money (and quite possibly your pet's life) in the long run.

Please do not delay in seeking treatment any longer. Your dog is losing weight, vital nutrients, and probably becoming dehydrated. Take him to a vet immediately. His life may depend on it!

Well dogs have a high tolerance for pain and they aren't going to show they are weak and sick because in the wild this would get them killed. Dogs are great at hiding things.
I would get him to a vet asap.
It could be a number of things. He could have gotten into something he shouldn't have. If he doesn't have his shots, he could have gotten parvo. Parvo is going to be bad this year...for those other dogs that don't have their shot yet. It can be a lot of things. He needs to go to the vet.
Good luck. I hope hes ok.

make sure he keeps drinking water you don't want him dehydrating then plenty of TLC.call the pound in the morning they should have de-wormed him.an easy way to tell is check out his poop and also if he drags his behind on the floor.if it's heart-worms then that's a whole new game and a lethal one as is hookworms which make a dog's eyes go side to side if bad.

He might have round worms. Just take him to the vet and they'll check him out. Or you can just go purchase some dewormer and even he doesn't have round worm it won't hurt him at all.

Sounds like he may need worming? Eating and drinking are good signs...if he stops either, get him to the vet IMMEDIATELY. Good luck...

take him to the vets. could be a thyroid problem, he could have worms, or it could be cancer. it's better to take him now, than to wait and let the symptoms progress.
