I believe in facts. Water is wet, pi * r squared is the formula for the area of a circle, the atomic weight of the elements, all of that does not in any way affect my religion, nor does my religion restrict or prohibit acknowledgment of scientific facts, and there is no conflict between them.

Why does it have to be one or the other. I know what my religion teaches about the origin of man, but I also know the scientific explaination of how man came into being. I honestly don't have a problem reconciling the two.

I believe there is true science, and I believe there is "science, falsely so-called." I have never found any true scientific fact to contradict the revelation of the Bible.

I know that Joshua commanded the sun to stand still and therefore I know that astronomy is false.

Likewise God changed the Nile River to blood, and the Rhine River to broccoli soup.

Also Jesus and his half-cousin Bob are on their way back to the earth, and soon it will be time for the Rupture.

You can take all your science and stuff it up your yin-yang.

Never. I do not let anything like that to come hinder my faith. The Main thing is in John 3:16. God loved..God gave ( you give to loved ones ) ...believe in Him...we receive..everlasting life.

Simple as that. I do not have to know everything, I just need to know and believe this. I do not have to know if Adam had a belly button, if Jonah was really in whale's belly..or who Cain marry..and that is a relieve. I do not want to make things too complicated when it is as simple as this. : )
