I hate to say this, but you will need to wait on bleaching your teeth to attain any long lasting results. If you're teeth were always "yellow" it's just the natural shade of them. They probably aren't as yellow as you think, we are always more critical of our selves. For now the best thing you can do is to spend extra time brushing and flossing to make sure your not leaving plaque on the teeth and around the braces making them appear more yellow. It takes a little more effort to maintain good oral hygiene when orthodontics are involved. You can use a whitening toothpaste, but avoid the strips and other products on the market right now. Talk with your dentist and see what he says. He may take your shade with a shade guide showing you just how light your teeth really are. Most ortho patients plan to bleach their teeth when they have theirs removed. Make it something to look forward to, your half way there now! Hope I've been some help and good luck!

Don't do the peroxide. You really can't do too much about whitening them. If you get them super white, when you get the braces off your teeth will have a yellow stripe.

Brushing five times a day is a bit much. Close up toothpaste probably is the safest thing for you to use.

Theres a new whitening listerine pre rinse formula out.. give that a shot. You rinse with it for 60 seconds, brush your teeth normally, then rinse with a normal listerine.

You could also try quitting smoking, and cutting down on coffee or dark cola drinking.
