On fri nite my crush and i went out to have a drink at my fave bar and there was this one guy who was hott :) stareing and smiling at me ... I wanted to see what my crush would do if i told him so i did and after i did my crush turned around and looked at him and got up walked over there and said hey what u lookin at ? and the guy said oh man im sorry i didnt mean to bother her and then my crush told him i was his sister ...after i found out he told him i was his sister i asked him what the hell ? he told me the only reason he said that to him cause he wanted that guy to stop stareing? does my crush like me or what?

It sounds like your little game blew up in your face but at least you found out the truth.
He only likes you like a sister, not as a girlfriend. If he felt the same way, he'd say that you were his date or something but he didn't.

Your crush wanted to show that he could step forward and handle the situation. But by saying you were his sister, he avoided a fight. Guys don't want to fight when it is the matter of a sister - they just can act like it was a misunderstanding. But what the hell is wrong with YOU? Did you actually want your crush to punch him in the face? What do you mean - you wanted to 'see what my crush would do'? You certainly put him on the spot and for what, because a guy was staring and smiling at you? That's like asking him to get in a fight or show some muscle - over smiling? What if someone got seriously hurt, not to mention you're setting the situation up so you would certainly get thrown out of the bar. A little bully instinct on your part, I think.

he just wanted you to be respected either way. i don't think he meant that he doesn't like you or anything. he stood up for you and succeeded. you should be happy about that. as you mentioned, you aren't dating, he's just your crush, so he may have thought he was stepping out of bounds if he called you his girlfriend. instead of whining, you should ask him how he feels. from where i see, he did a decent thing not stepping bounds by saying "she's my date" or "girl friend." ask him how he feels instead of going crazy over whether he likes you or not.
he did a great thing by standing up for you and now you worry whether he likes you or not. just ask him.

well most of the boys never said that..but may be..he want to show u he know how to handle that kind of problem and he don't mind about u..but never ever do that again if u only wanted to know how he will respond cuz that can break your relationship sometime ok!sounds like he have open-minded and he not the one who always want to fight for Gf..that good!well he right cuz {my own}when I was with my bros..people won't starring at me all the time,,when I was with my bf..they don't care ..!don't worry he like you.and he want to show u he can protect u {not a stupid way}he is open-minded and mature so be proud to be with him.I sure He like you.that why he took you to your fave bar.but don't ever try to get his attention like that..don't lose your good relationship!

Maybe he expected this guy to start something and when he apologized your crush felt like a dumbass for being kinda rude about it.
If that's not it then yea...that's pretty weird.

I just think he likes and thinks of you as a sister. He doesn't have feelings for you cause if he did he would have called you his GF and not his sister.
