My cat is having kittens?

She is a domestic short gray hair tabby,but the father is a longhaired mainecoon type cat is it possible some of her kittens may have long hair too?

It is possible.
Do you realize that for every 1 person born, there are 7 puppies and kittens
born? At best, 1 will find a forever home.
And don't forget, that every "Free-to-good-home" litter takes homes away
from animals already at the shelter.

STOP letting your pets; or your friends, relatives or co-workers pets
contribute to the problem.
If you love animals, it is NOT ENOUGH to merely say "My pets are fixed".
Vow to educate and enable others to fix their pets too.
Spaying just 1 female dog or cat, will prevent 6 others from ending up in a
shelter the following year.
Please be part of the solution, NOT the problem!

It's possible - the short hair gene is dominant, so a short hair cat could be carrying a long hair gene. If this is the case about half the kittens will come out long haired. But even the short hair kittens will all be carrying a long hair gene.

And please get the momma spayed as soon as possible.

Definitely. We had two brindle colored kittens, one short hair black and white spotted kitten and one gray longhaired kitten that looked like a Persian.

Yes, almost a certainty. Cats can have a different father for each kitten. Are you sure she only mated with the one male?
