You should ask her what the conditions are within the "cool down" period...if she wants to see other people, then i wouldnt wait for her...if she says she only wants you or nobody right now...then it might be a nice thing to wait...but 300 miles away with temptation just around the corner is pretty rough...
Just be careful man, she is leaving you hangin and you dont know what to expect next...be ready for anything!

Relationships have flaws and ups and downs and there are ways to deal with it, so she wanted to take a break and get through whatever problems she is having before she can focus on a relationship, maybe that way she can focus on you or whoever she decideds she wants to date. Be friends with her and support her for whatever she is allowing you to, since she did not give specifics on a cool down date then you have to take it one day at a time and see what happens, if she feels that she is still not ready to pursue a relationship then maybe you can just be friends with her and find you someone else to be more then friends with. If you can not wait any longer then just move on and tell her that you would like to be friends with her but you feel the break is to long and you would like to move on. It will be hard to reguardless of what happens both parties have to accept it.

Yes. I think if you trust her enough and love her enough, you should wait. This has happened to me before. My life was so chaotic and things were happening in my family I just felt like I couldn't trust or love anybody but I knew that I loved my boyfriend, but being in a relationship with him at the time would only make him suffer through my highs and lows as well...and I didn't want him to go through that. It's an inner-self thing that's going on with her, and once she feels strong enough inside again, she'll be ready for things to get back to normal.

If you really love her, you will wait. Sooner or later you will know the real reason, there are real reasons for what's happening to both of you right now. Your gf's alibi is not very convincing. Make your instincts and doubts work this time. I am not sayng that you should doubt the decision of your gf, but watch and think things over.

This sounds pretty positive to me. Don't give up hope. Hang in there. Let her know how you feel. Distance means nothing in matters of love. You aren't even half a day away from each other. GET out there!
She would appreciate it more than you know. PLUS..she has no idea how you feel.

the worst thing a guy could do is "miss the oppurtunity", if u think she is the right one for you then sure, the best thing you could do is have patience and let her have her space
