Okay. Here is the deal. The girl I liked since before my ex still likes me and is still interested in me. And now I like her again. And I wanted to see if a relationship b/w us could work. We both want to date each other. But we both want it to be real and serious.
We both live in the Houston. I will be entering college in August (I skipped a year for reasons i do not care to explain, muhahah! >:D) and it will be in the Houston. However, she is a Junior in high school. And her plan is to go to Dallas with a friend for college there. That means we will only have about a year to be physically together if we did try to pursue a relationship.
So my question is, do you think we have a chance? Is a long distance relationship possible? Or should I just give it up and move on? Your input would be appreciated?
By the way, I have no desire to do anything sexual at this juncture. She is a very devout Christian girl and I respect that and like that about her. So dont think I'm some sort of perv

Yes its possible to keep a long distance relationship strong. Its really hard though, you need to have good communication and trust for long distance relationships to keep it strong and long lasting. You can call, text, IMs, or email here from time to time to keep each other in touch. And make an effort to visit her whenever you can.

Well only you can answer this question. I would say try it out..you have a year before you go to different schools..So use this next year to get closer, learn more about her..her likes and dislikes...movies, sports, things she does for fun...and yes..long distance relationships can work if you both are truely committed to each other. You'll have to see when that time comes..for now..I would definately give it a go and see how it works out for you~ GoodLuck*

If you only like someone its not going to work because you're constantly going to want more. It can only work if you truly love that person and are dedicated enough to wait for them. There has to be some light at the end of the tunnel though, whether it be 7 months or two years, something to look forward to you two being actually with each other.

well, actually, i'm kind of in the same situation like yours, i fell in love with a guy online from another country in west when it's first time he asked me to be his online girlfriend, I thought it's the same as chatting on here, but things start get serious and he'll get jealous and would ask who i always chat online with, but i start to love him then. We haven't met yet till now after almost three years, not yet until i finish high school next year. We do talk alot about our future on here, when to get married, where to start our life, how many child we would like to have. I mean really serious and it gives us both hope eventhough we're waiting to meet. So, i think if there's hope between you two, i guess you should give it a chance, wish you luck!

i think that if the both of you want to persue a relationship, then do it and dont let the long distance come between you two, and i respect that you aren't in it for the sexual part, so that makes it an even better reason to move foward.
