Nobody hates Islam, people hate other people. Islam teaches hatred of the Jew and intolerance of any non-Islamic religion, as well as forcible conversion to Islam & second class citizenship for non-Muslims in Muslim country's coupled with a special tax for non-Muslims. Islam is not exactly a friendly prospect for non-Muslims. The tendency to kill people who don't see things the Islamic way doesn't help either. The preoccupation with death, the actual glorification of death through martyrdom, and the belief that the perpetrators of heinous crimes who die in the commission of said crimes being rewarded with a heavenly brothel and 72 virgins pushes the envelope beyond most sane people's tolerance level.
I am sure I could write a diatribe critical of Hinduism, Christianity or Judaism, or any other religion if I so chose, I'm not particularly anti-Muslim per say, but I cannot honestly say the belief system is one I could adopt for myself. I am pretty sure, somewhere back in history, somebody decided that they liked beef, or pork, so to insure they had more beef or pork for their own use, they told everyone who would listen that cows were sacred, and pigs were dirty, not to eat the flesh of those animals. I don't buy the orgainzed religion hustle, people in the Middle East are being manipulated by their bias Arab against Jew in much the same manner as the Brits play the Catholics off against the Protestants in Ireland.
It's just too bad they don't see it, they are too busy hating each other to realize both are being manipulated.

human beings hate Islam via lack of understanding, in the event that they examine the words interior the Quran and researched the life of Mohammad (peace be upon him) then they might comprehend Islam no longer be a faith of chic information. The terrorists are exceedingly very like the Spanish Inquisition, or the Ku Klux Klan - poor representatives of their faith who take a good option too a techniques, pervert its which ability and injury its acceptance. the clarification why the media encourages us to hate Islam is via the fact the U. S. government needs us to assist it in each war they % to start (I recon Iran with the help of 2008 on the main present) - human beings stay in concern because of fact if we are afraid we have faith what the government let us know. As a Christian minister i'm disgusted with the help of the media's atitude in direction of our Islamic friends. that's a tragic element that some warmongers and bigots do plenty injury on the two facets and little ones get injury.

People hate Islam because it IS a religion and people hate all religion. Religion causes wars and poverty, except for religious leaders, they get rich.
As for Islam being the fastest growing religion, I heard the Flying Teapot faith grew by several hundred percent, from one member to six members.

The reason a lot of people hate Islam is the foundation of which it is built is like sand. It is not solid and actually can be proven Untrue according to Christian beliefs. Contradictions happen over and over. They say they "love you but yet u have to kill yourself for them?"
Doesnt make sense. Now then, u do have to respect what others believe and must take in to account that you might not agree or you might disagree with someone. Love everyone but you dont have to like them. Respect there ideas but you dont have to agree with them.

"Hate" is probably too strong a word. I'd say most people (myself included) are afraid of the way it is being perverted by extremists and used as a justification for murdering innocents. And we're also wondering where the "moderate" faction is to stand up to the extremists and say "Hey, you've hijacked our religion and we're not going to stand behind your bloody acts!"

i think for 3 things, either 1) they are mislead by media and bad examples of muslims, or 2) people are always afraid of whats different and what is a threat, and islam when practiced the right way would be the leader and standard of the world just like it was for 4 centuries and 3) because people are afraid of living a clean life because they would have to give up drinking and stuff like that or in other words theyre afraid of the truth

Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ....that is hypocrisy.
They reject Christ's diety;
they deny his claim to be the Son of God;
they deny his death on the cross...
they deny His resurrection..
They deny Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
In fact, the Quran says : "Allah has no son".
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.
The Bible calls Muhammed and those like him false prophets:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
