Flirting means you're telling someone you're attracted to them and/or find them sexually desirable. Cheating? Maybe not, but certainly inappropriate, especially when in a serious relationship or married.

hmmmmm....Flirting in the dictionary means; to show casual interest, to come close to....I suppose it's what your intent is? Since it sounds as if your in a relationship....I believe this is considered cheating. If your flirting just to get your mates attention, it may well back fire on you. Look inside yourself and ask "why" you have this need to flirt. In the long run someone usually gets hurt. How would you feel?

No, its considered the first step TO cheating. It says "I want to have a relationship with that person even though Im in a relationship with you and I dont care how YOU feel about that!"Now consider this:you are totally crazy over someone and no one else crosses your mind, then they get serious with you and then when everything seems great they start flirting with this hot chick/guy and the other person flirts back and you feel they are more attractive than you.Guess how YOURE going to feel.

I don't think it is because the way you smile at someone could be considered flirting. The way I look at it is that as long as you don't touch the person or make any comments to be taken sexually, you're not cheating.

If the flirting was innocent and there was no touching or inappropriate suggestions given, then I'd say no.
But if the flirting was with someone that the other partner is uncomfortable with or was in front of the other than it could be taken badly and rightfully so.

Active flirting is definately pushing the line, passive flirting seems innocent enough. but if the person in question could be led beyond flirting then they cannot be trusted.

I think it depends on where your at in your relationship. If your just friends and not real serious I don't see it as bad.If you are all the way in the relationship to the point of being engaged and doing a lot of hugging and kissing and it's to that level and you do it your a jerk.

yes it is and it needs to stop. its called lusting and its in the bible. it says if you lust for another you might as well have committed adultry cause you cheated in your mind. so stop it. that is what caused me and my ex to break up. keep on doing it if you want to hurry up and end your relationship. cuz sooner or later that person whom you are with wont trust you since you are conducting yourself in such a manner. to me flirting while you are already in a relationship is disrespectful. plz for gods sake stop doing that. its rude. to both parties. cause it shows the other person that you have no respect for the person you are with or even yourself for that matter. sorry.

the best answer to that question would be for you to ask yourself would you consider it cheating if the other party were doing the same
