I've been looking for a 2nd job, I can type a good 50wpm, im people person, very organized, etc. but in alot of the job descriptions I'm seeing, they want people who know Microsoft Excel and Word, I never got taught these in high school, i guess they werent that popular then. Please help it would mean alot. Thanks!

correspondence is great learn at your own pace then you always have books for reference

It's not that hard really especially if you don't want to do anything fancy - I think if you just get a hold of a copy of Microsoft Office and play around with it you'll get the hang of it in no time and if there's something you can't figure out how to do then look through the help files that come with it. You could always ask here also if you get stuck. Good luck..

Florida Gulf Coast University has some very good tutorials for MS Office 2000. They will help you with the basics.

Some public libraries offer free computer workshops. Or check with your local community college. They may offer online courses.

Consider having ECDL or ICDL Certification and course it is more than perfect.
ECDL : European Computer Driving License
ICDL : International Computer Driving License.
