the guy i like, well actually it's more complicated than that...but he said he doesn't smoke pot anymore, but i'm not sure if he's lying. sometimes i believe him, but most of the time i don't. i've been putting off hanging out with him because i'm scared that if we go out to dinner and he drives that we'll get pulled over and he'll have something in his car...
would i get in trouble [as a minor] if i'm in his car and he has pot/anything bad in his car?? [i wouldn't have any of it in my system]

I knew you were young before I read the last two sentences of your question.
Yes, you will also get into trouble even if you have absolutely no idea what the heck it is. You wouldn't have any in your system but how does the cop know that you aren't selling it? There are plenty of people who sell drugs but don't actually use them
I think you're better off finding someone who doesn't engage in illegal activities because you might end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. You could end up doing time simply b/c you're guilty by association. Just my advice.

You most definitely would.
You don't even have to have any in your system, but the fact that you're a minor and sort of in possession with drugs could be put on your record. You should be responsible enough to stay away from them, don't get yourself caught in this guy's mess.
And hon, what are you doing with a guy that does drugs anyway? Ditch him & find a guy you deserve.
A guy that does drugs most likely doesn't have respect for himself, so how would he give you the respect you deserve?

Yes, you would as an accessory. If he smokes around you, you would have the drug in your system. If you suspect someone has a drug problem you can try to help them to a point and if they don't stop you have to leave them alone outside of saying Hello and speaking to them generally. Other than that avoid them as much as possible and don't hang around them.

Yes the two of you would go possibily to jail unless he admits to the patroling officer that it belongs to him and you have nothing to do with it. Then from there they will probably notify your parents.
