Try reading good books that are at your age level. Ask the librarian to recommend some. She also can recommend a good grammar book. It is difficult to learn good grammar when people around you don't use it. Even some of the newspapers of today have articles that don't contain proper grammar because some of the writers never really understood it in school and it slips by the editor . It constantly makes me shudder when I see blatant mistakes in print. Ask the Liberian for books on grammar that give you choices for the answers and then give the proper answer and why it is proper. As for the spelling, try typing the words you are not sure of in a program like Word and you get the corrected spelling. A very good way to learn spelling is to make friends with a dictionary. Look up words you don't understand and that gives you practice with correct spelling and increases your vocabulary, which in turns helps you when you try to communicate with others. Good luck on your efforts.

The easy way?
READ BETTER BOOKS!
Get yourself something that interests you (mine is paranormal romance) and read until you think you're going to dream dog-eared pages.
Try to grab books between 250 - 500 pages so that it is both long enough to take a bit of time, and short enough that you don't lose interest before you finish. Don't worry if it takes you a week per book, just make it a habit whenever you have a few minutes.
How does it help? By increasing your vocabulary, as well as constantly exposing you to examples of better grammar. By reading words (even if they are in separate contexts), you will end up being able to spell them without having to sit down and do all of the 'spelling lists' that grade schoolers have.
Think about it like this:
The ditzy airhead popular girl reads fashion magazines. (Probably not reading more than 5 pages per month.)
The intelligent bookworm is buried in their books constantly and therefore not only has a strong grasp of grammar, usage, and vocabulary, but enjoys it and isn't even trying to learn!
