i'm about as far along as you are and even if you did go into labor your baby should be fine...but i don't know about that feeling of constipation, could be constipation....when i had my last baby it didn't feel like that...you should call your doctor

You can't know for sure the baby has "dropped" unless the doctor says so - I carried my baby very low from 6 months on and had a normal healthy baby. Everyone kept saying "oh, you've dropped - looks like you're ready any day!". I swear, I heard this at least 5 times each and every day. People like to speculate and be authority figures on childbirth just because they or someone they have known has given birth (as though they were the first!). If you are concerned, see your doctor - don't ask people on Yahoo Q&A or the other "experts" who have given birth once or twice. People really mean well, but your doctor will give you the real scoop.

No i don't think that is normal you should call your doctor most doctors have an answering service or a way to reach them for something urgent even if it is after business hours he may want you to go to the hospital to get checked things during pregnancy can change so quickly its better to be safe than sorry i cant stress that enough

I am a first time mommy of an 8 month old, so i naturally worried about things like this. my son dropped at 25 weeks and i was in braxton hicks contractions throughout most of my pregancy. but every pregnancy is different, i wouldnt worry too much about it, some drop earlier than others, relax take a warm bath, everything is going to be ok. i hope this was a little helpful.

Not usually normal at 29 weeks, but possible. Be very aware of possible onset of premature labor.
