how do you treat a cut lip?

press domestic abuse charges against the s.o.b then celebrate your new life. the lip should heal itself.

The bodies defences will stop the bleeding in time so this should not be a problem. Just apply pressure on the cut using a clean handkerchief or some other lint free material. Then you should as soon as possible get a Tetanus injection for her. If the dog is starting to get a bit cranky then I would be very careful from now on. As some dogs get older they have pains that you will not know about and when playing with the dog your daughter might cause some pain on it and the dog will respond to the cause of it,s pain.

I find that the day after a busted lip it really helps to put vasaline or aquaphor on it - it really helps with the burning. Unless there is a medical reason not too - a lot of the cold sore ointments have a numbing component to them that might help a lot.

My son a while back bit through his lip. the doctor told us to have him gargle with salt water to help keep it clean. Good Luck and I hope it heals soon.

Grab a bad of ice and put it on your lip because it's gonna swell

First clean it and use mouthwash for inside, put ice on it and right before you go to bed, put on neosporin (outside only) so it can heal overnight.
Watch those punches.
